Engagement objectives

IPE Global is supporting the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Rajasthan, in developing a Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Strategy for reducing low birth weight. Their engagement with StratComm focused on rewriting a technical document into a clear, accessible, actionable and visually engaging strategy with clearly listed priority behaviours and an implementation roadmap for government and development stakeholders.

Our process

StratComm initially held consultations with IPE to understand the vision for the strategy and the specific pain points in converting it into an actionable document. Keeping these considerations in mind, we fine-tuned the strategy to be clear, consistent and easy to refer to while preserving technical accuracy. Building on the refined content, we designed the publication from cover to internal layouts, creating a visual hierarchy that made evidence, strategic frameworks and key messages easy to navigate.

Key outcome

The final strategy document provides a clear and actionable roadmap for strengthening Social and Behaviour Change interventions to reduce low birth weight in Rajasthan. It presents priority maternal nutrition behaviours, key messages and strategic interventions in a publication that is accessible, visually engaging and ready for dissemination among government, programme and development partners.
